Meet Raphael Barelli Schaefer, a 33-year-old professional with dual French and American heritage. Armed with Master's degrees in finance and European business law, he kicked off his career at EY in tax and transfer pricing for 3.5 years. For the past 7 years, he's been a Senior Manager in the tax and transfer pricing function at Yanfeng, a major Chinese automotive parts supplier. Apart from his professional role, he enjoys photography, basketball, and is a proud owner of a brown miniature dachshund.

Samit Shah serves as a Principal of Grant Thornton's Transfer Pricing Practice based in the Atlanta, Georgia. Samit joins the Firm with approximately 20 years tax and transfer pricing experience, including 13 years at Big 4 accounting and 3 years leading a national accounting firm’stransfer pricing practice.  Over the past several years, Samit’s focus has been on a variety of industries as he served as lead on many supply chain reorganizations, IP migrations, APA andControversy, financing transactions, tax reform planning, as well as global documentation.

Additionally, Samit has developed and led many planning projects around Domestic transfer pricing, IP migration, management service allocations, M&A deals, and financing transactions.
