Prasad, tell us a bit about your background and what brought you to Aibidia.
I’m originally from Mumbai, and it was here that I built the foundation of my professional career in the fields of international tax and transfer pricing. Thanks to this career path and the guidance of some great mentors, I’ve had the opportunity to live and work in New York for a few years and, more recently, in the UK—splitting the last five years between London and Reading with my wife and young family.
After spending 20 years with Big 4 firms across three continents, I was ready for a new adventure—one where I could leverage my professional experience, make an impact by helping build a forward-thinking business, and work with good people. The opportunity at Aibidia checked all those boxes, and I couldn’t resist joining the journey.
Describe a typical day for you at Aibidia.
My day typically starts at 6:30 AM with some yoga, followed by the school run for my kids. After that, I head into the office or work from home and begin my workday. I lead our Professional Services team, which means a big part of my day is spent coaching and training the team as we help clients solve complex transfer pricing challenges through Aibidia’s innovative platform.
When I’m not working directly with the team or our clients, I focus on strategic initiatives—exploring how we can elevate our services and deliver even more value to our clients.
What was the moment you knew you made the right decision in joining Aibidia?
I knew I had made the right decision after visiting our head office in Helsinki during my onboarding process. I had read about Aibidia’s culture, heard great things from others, and had a positive interview experience—but it’s always hard to know for sure until you’re a part of the environment.
Meeting the amazing team in person confirmed to me the culture was everything it claimed to be and more, and I felt immediately welcomed and supported by everyone at Aibidia.
What motivates you in your work?
I’m deeply motivated by two aspects of my role: solving client problems and coaching our team. I truly enjoy finding efficient, technology-driven solutions to help clients optimize their tax and transfer pricing functions and to solve complex challenges in this field.
When it comes to coaching, I enjoy sharing my experiences with the team and empowering them to take on bigger responsibilities. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch people grow and succeed.
Tell us about something that happened here that could only happen at Aibidia.
Aibidia’s culture truly stands out, and I experienced it firsthand during my onboarding process. When I visited the Helsinki head office for three weeks, the level of support I received was remarkable. I’ve worked in various organizations and countries, but this was the first time I experienced such an intentional effort to ensure a smooth transition and help me settle into my role quickly. It’s a testament to how much Aibidia values and invests in its people and I can’t express how much that positively impacts how you feel about your work and colleagues.
